If you’ve seen Titanic then you probably remember the scene where Rose lies on the couch and says to Jack, “Draw me like one of your french girls”. This (dog breed) right here is doing the doggo version. Unlike us humans, our four-leggos sweat through the pads in their paws. In order to cool down their body, they sleep with their stomach exposed and paws stretched out.
At times, you can also hear them whimpering and kicking, cause this is the REM phase which is where most dreams occur.
